An article presented to the Lancaster County Historical Society detailing the history of the Lancaster Watch Company, its trandformation into the Hamilton Watch Company, and its influence on the watchmaking industry. The article was written by John J. Bowman, son of Ezra F. Bowman, who was one of the founders of the company, and the founder of the Bowman Technical Institute in Lancaster. Contribited by NAWCC Chapter 149 to advance the public knowledge and interest in horology.
